Life has changed significantly for Mama Dionisia John because of the  Pressure cook from AfroClean Energy. Mama  Dionis is a single mother with two children in high school. She plaits hair for people in her home and earns some money from her skill to take care of her household.

When she saw the opportunity of owning a pressure cooker (from AfroClean Energy, she was excited. When she started using it, she was amazed. She used to spend approximately three hours each day, cooking different meals for her family, but the pressure cooker saves her almost 2.5hrs of that. Spending less time in the kitchen has enabled her cook more variety of meals for her family, increased time she spends plaiting hair hence earning more (on average she works on

5-6 customers, an increase from the 4 customers she used to have before. She's less stressed because she puts the food and turns it and off when it's ready. She's thinking of opening up a proper hair salon in the future with an increase in her income and maybe getting an extra person to assist her.
